This program is a follow-up to my March program which explained the three different types of DNA used for genealogy, this time focusing on the Autosomal DNA (AtDNA). We will be starting with a brief review of AtDNA from the last program for those that didn’t attend in March. There will be a short discussion of why you would want to use your DNA results. Then the focus will be on the tools from Ancestry to help with your journey to find ancestors using your DNA results. Along the way I’ll be sharing some of my actual results proving why you need to use both the genealogy research in conjunction with your DNA results.
